Print Design Portfolio

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

The Print Design work is the key for the offline advertising channel. We see daily lot of promotional and marketing materials like: printed ads, presentation brochures, book covers, product labels, posters, catalogs, postcards, flyers etc. With all this diversity, naturally it is very hard for our mind to store and remember all images that we see in a short amount of time. Our brain filters all those visual images and retains just the unique approaches.

Here, at Design General, we brainstorm, research and create unique concepts for your print materials to strengthen your brand’s image in the mind of the consumer. We live in a busy world and the consumer doesn’t have always time to pay attention to all the details of a design. On our clean designs your eyes can focus easily on the targeted message.

You can see below a few samples from the print related work.

Thomas Zahn, P.A.T.H. Finders Intl. – Czech Republic

In the 1 year since Adrian has made his mark (and perhaps I should add, completely redesigned) our web pages, I have come to think of him as someone who somehow intuitively knows what I am thinking. It is really quite remarkable how well he listens and responds to my requests.

Corporate Identity Portfolio

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

The Corporate Identity is the first step that a company should think to when they want to establish a strong brand and to start a branding campaign. A professional business card design denotes a true business company. When you send out a letter to a client, a branded letterhead and envelope will help strengthen your brand values in your clients’ mind.

Business card design, letterhead design and envelope design are the services included in our corporate identity package. We can design additional matching stationery items like folders or compliment slips upon request. In a moving world you can’t let your company be stationary, action now and get a fresh design for your business.

You can see below a selection from Design General’s corporate identity portfolio.

Flash Template Customization for Maroto & Associates This wasn’t a creative project per se, because Maroto & Associates supplied the flash template and Design General had to customize it according to the client needs. This project shows that we’re up to the challenge for every kind project.

New design for Design General website

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

Design General website was having a quite old design. Because of that I thought it was the time to bring for it a new fresh skin. I was started to work on the new design a while ago, but due to the fact that I was busy with other projects I had to postpone a bit the launch of the new website.

I’ve tried to make a pleasant experience for my visitors. If you experience any issues, please contact me and let me know what are those.

I hope you’ll enjoy my new website and the features. Your comments are welcomed.

Web 2.0 Layout Design & Valid XHTML Strict Coding [singlepic id="6" w="150" h="125" mode="" float="left" ]

Cash4u.com is a new challenge for Design General. I had to design few CSS table-less skins for this site, keeping in mind the ‘fast loading site’ request. This site had to be designed using just 4-5 images to keep the number of http requests to a low level. Also, I’ve optimized the used images to be lightweight and used CSS sprites technique to display them. The site was tested in all major browsers to ensure it offers a good experience for each visitor no matter what browser is using.

The results are great…the demo-site is loading really fast and is valid XHTML 1.0 strict. The website is going to be up to the latest web standards from both a design and coding point of view. I can call it a web 2.0 design. What do you think?
